Helen Ida May Ulvi, 59, was last seen October 21, 1978, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was living in a halfway house near Selby Avenue and Dale Street and attended dinner there that night, then left shortly afterward without her purse, coat, or other personal belongings on an unseasonably cold evening. Her disappearance was classified as endangered and she has never been seen or heard from since. Very few details are available and investigators report no substantial leads. The St. Paul Police Department keeps the case open and seeks anyone with information that might explain Helen’s disappearance.
