Dragon Rnic, a 56-year-old Caucasian man, was last seen on December 1, 2009, driving a white Honda Odyssey in Las Vegas. His minivan was found abandoned the next day on State Route 160 near mile marker 20 by Mountain Springs, and the case was initially treated as a missing person investigation.

In October 2011 a body was discovered in a remote desert area not far from where the van had been located. Las Vegas police believed the remains to be Rnic’s and transferred the matter to the homicide section.

The Clark County coroner’s office was to determine the official cause of death. Many key questions remain about what happened between Rnic’s last sighting and the discovery of his remains. If anyone knew Dragon Rnic, his movements in early December 2009, or has information about the area near SR 160, please come forward.
