Michelle Elaine Meiser, 22, disappeared from St. Paul, Minnesota after going out on the evening of March 11, 1977. She was described as Native American, a member of the White Earth band of the Chippewa, with long black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 120 pounds. Distinctive marks included a large bite scar on her left arm and a scar above her left breast.
On the night she vanished she was wearing a dark green coat sweater over a brown sweater, light beige pants, light brown wedge shoes and carrying a large black purse. She wore several rings, including turquoise, a black onyx and an engagement ring. Her disappearance generated few leads; the case remains open and was entered into NamUs in 2013. A July 1977 unidentified woman found in the Mississippi River was compared to Meiser but later ruled out.
Does anyone have memories of Michelle, her routines in St. Paul in 1977, or information that could help close this long open case?
