Elizabeth Ann Kenyon was 23 and worked as a special education teacher at Coral Gables High School when she disappeared on March 5, 1984. She was last seen in the school parking lot after speaking briefly with a security guard and driving away in her Chrysler convertible. Kenyon had a duffel bag with workout clothes and a curling iron but left her purse behind; her roommate did not report her missing until she failed to appear for work the following day.

Six days later the convertible was found abandoned at Miami International Airport; there was no sign she boarded a flight and her name did not appear on passenger lists. A gas station attendant later said he saw Kenyon on March 8 speaking with a man in a Cadillac Eldorado who paid for her gas and drove off with her. The attendant identified that man as Christopher Wilder, who had dated Kenyon and proposed to her previously. Wilder had a prior record of sexual violence and was tied by witnesses to Kenyon the day she vanished. He later became a suspect in a series of abductions and murders and was killed during a struggle with police in April 1984.

What additional details do readers remember about Kenyon’s last known movements or anyone she might have been meeting that week?
