On Christmas Eve 1992, Prince Edward County, Virginia, was the scene of a quadruple homicide at the Atkinsons’ home. Four men were found shot in the head: 24-year-old William B. Cutter, 24-year-old George Atkinson Jr., 47-year-old George Atkinson Sr., and 31-year-old Jeffrey Villalobos. After the shootings, the house was set on fire, apparently to destroy evidence.
Investigators identified brothers Michael and Johnny Williams as the primary suspects. Michael Williams was later arrested and faced charges in connection with the murders; public documentation about charges against Johnny Williams is less clear. The killings were described as a quadruple homicide spree that devastated the community on what had been a holiday.
If anyone knew William Cutter, the Atkinsons, Villalobos, or the Williams brothers and has information about that night, please come forward.
