Brian Frash, 36, was shot to death inside a Lucerne Valley home in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station arrived at about 3:30 a.m., found Frash in a bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Homicide detectives took over the investigation.
Investigators say a verbal altercation occurred at the residence shortly before the shooting. Both men lived at the home, though their exact relationship was not immediately clear; the initial call and scene details indicated a domestic setting rather than a random encounter. By the evening of August 26, deputies detained and arrested a suspect, identified as Arthur James Archuleta, 70, at the Lucerne Valley Substation and booked him on suspicion of murder.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail, or submit an anonymous tip to We-Tip. Did anyone in Lucerne Valley hear or see anything that night or know the people who lived at that address?
