Jaden Williams, 26, of Ellenwood, Georgia, was fatally shot on a Saturday evening in late August or early September 2025. Surveillance video shows the shooting occurred around 7 p.m. outside the Linecrest Food Mart on Linecrest Road. Williams was standing with several others behind an SUV when someone inside a passing car opened fire. The car fled and the people with Williams also left the scene, leaving him on the ground.

Family members described Williams as a loving father to a young daughter who enjoyed bringing people together. The family said his decision to be an organ donor allowed his organs to help eight other people. The DeKalb County Police are investigating and have asked the public for information; no arrests or named suspects have been announced.

If anyone saw the shooting or has information about the vehicle or people involved, please share what is known with investigators.
