Antonio Lee Williams, 42, was fatally shot in the late afternoon of August 17, 2025, near East Conley Road and Highway 42 in Conley, Georgia. Witnesses said an SUV circled the neighborhood, pulled up beside Williams while he stood outside his vehicle, and two shots were fired from inside the SUV. Williams attempted to get back into his car but collapsed; a bystander performed CPR and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have identified a possible connection to a domestic dispute. Police say Williams had argued with a woman the day before his death; that woman told authorities he left her residence with a juvenile who was later found in Williams’s vehicle at the time of the shooting, and that another man had witnessed their argument. The Clayton County Police Department describes the investigation as active and ongoing. No arrests or official motive have been announced.
