Has anyone else been thinking about the psychological state of Nicholas Steven Kirchner leading up to the tragic events on June 6? My heart goes out to Steven and Elizabeth, and I can't stop wondering what might have led their son to commit such an act. The fact that he referred to the murders as "righteous kills" is chilling. It makes me question what kind of mental state he was in and if there were missed opportunities for intervention. It’s such a complex and saddening situation. I hope the family can eventually find some sense of peace or understanding, though I know that may be a long way off.
