Two men were found shot to death outside a home north of Spencer, Indiana, on August 9, 2025. Deputies arrived about 3:42 p.m. after a report of a shooting and discovered 41-year-old Grantham Adam Chandler and 61-year-old Jeffrey David Fauber lying deceased in the driveway from apparent gunshot wounds.

A juvenile male later walked into the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in Martinsville and reported a criminal incident in Owen County. The juvenile was detained by Martinsville Police and identified by the Owen County Sheriff as a person of interest; his identity has not been released because of his age. The Owen County Prosecutor’s Office said it will review the evidence before deciding whether to seek to charge the juvenile as an adult.

The Indiana State Police, Bloomington Police Department and local agencies assisted in the investigation, and authorities said there is no ongoing threat to the community. If anyone has information about Chandler or Fauber, or about the events on August 9, please come forward.
