In the early morning of July 17, 2025, deputies responded to a 12:20 a.m. 911 call at a home on Oak Meadows Drive in Covington, Georgia, and found 50-year-old Kowanda Richardson Glenn and her 20-year-old son, Mikhail Glenn, both fatally shot. Kowanda’s husband, 53-year-old Willie Glenn, was at the scene and told deputies that his wife and son had been shot.

Investigators treated the deaths as domestic-related. Based on the initial investigation, authorities arrested Willie Glenn at the residence and charged him with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The motive has not been publicly confirmed and the investigation remains ongoing.
