It makes me wonder about the exact words exchanged and if there was ever an off-ramp or possible de-escalation pathway missed along the way. To hear that a 19-year-old, Jaylen Lavar Fisher, has been charged with this crime adds another layer of sadness. It's devastating that such a young person is now facing the rest of his life overshadowed by this act. I’m also deeply empathetic toward Christopher's family and friends, who must be going through unimaginable pain. It’s so important that justice is served, but I also hope there's space for community healing and understanding of how we prevent this cycle of violence in the future. My thoughts are with everyone affected. No family should have to endure such a tragedy.
