A large gathering at Tillman Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana, ended in gunfire on the night of June 23, 2025. Calls about shots fired came in around 11:50 p.m.; officers found a crowd dispersing near 7500 South Hanna Street and discovered two males with gunshot wounds. Emergency crews pronounced 20-year-old Eriyn Brionne White dead at the scene. The Allen County Coroner later ruled White’s death a homicide. A second victim was taken to hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators reported the shooting followed a confrontation during a party of more than 100 people. On June 24, 2025, police identified and took into custody a 17-year-old male juvenile in the 200 block of East Rudisill Boulevard; he was held on preliminary charges of Murder and Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun with a prior conviction. Some reports say court records allege the teen was aiming at another person when both victims were struck.
