Shortly after midnight on May 18, 2025, gunfire erupted outside the Midtown Daiquiri Bar & Grill on Log Cabin Drive in Macon, Georgia. Three men were pronounced dead at the scene: 24-year-old Javarsia Meadows, his 28-year-old half-brother Jedarrius Meadows Jr., and 32-year-old Javonta Faulks. Investigators recovered more than 50 shell casings and six other people were wounded and taken to hospitals.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office identified several suspects and made multiple arrests connected to the case. Muchman Bond III, 25, was taken into custody in South Carolina on an unrelated charge in May. Authorities in Macon arrested 17-year-old Travis Keyshaun Glover and 28-year-old Jarrius Terrell Curry. Another man sought in connection with the shooting, 25-year-old Christopher Valentine, was found dead in a Macon residence of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound before he could be arrested.
No official motive has been released; some reports mention a possible link to gang activity. The indicted individuals’ cases are pending in Bibb County Superior Court. Does anyone have information about the victims, the location that night, or witnessed the shooting?
