Patricia Watson-Geiger, 69, was found dead in her Lutherville-Timonium home on Oakcroft Drive on the evening of September 15, 2025. Her body was discovered in the bedroom amid a ransacked interior; neighbors reported hearing gunshots that morning. An autopsy determined she died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Her ex-husband, 65-year-old Karl Daniel Geiger, who still lived in the house after their 2019 divorce, initially told police he left for work around 7:30 a.m. and returned that evening to find the scene. Surveillance footage and cell phone records later contradicted his timeline, and investigators say he told a neighbor the victim had been shot in the head before that detail was public. He was also seen dragging a blood-stained mattress from the home and loading it into a pickup truck, conduct detectives describe as staging a burglary.

Based on the conflicting evidence, detectives arrested Karl Daniel Geiger and charged him with first-degree murder; he is being held without bond. Did anyone in the neighborhood know either Patricia or Karl well enough to shed light on their routines that morning?
