In the pre-dawn hours of June 21, 2025, officers in St. Louis County responded to a welfare check at a home on the 7200 block of Calvin Avenue in Jennings. They found 24-year-old Alicia Alexandria Leach inside the residence with apparent gunshot injuries; emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene. The death is being investigated as a homicide.

Alicia, known as LeLee, was pregnant and expected a daughter she planned to name Nylani Salome Leach. Family and friends remembered her as a creative person who loved fashion, often customized her own clothing, and frequently changed her hairstyles. Detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are handling the inquiry and canvassing for evidence and witnesses.
