Gregory LeFevre, 35, was found dead inside his rented cottage in Alton, New Hampshire, after his landlord checked on him on February 6, 1988 because LeFevre’s van was missing and the landlord intended to feed the tenant’s dogs. An autopsy showed multiple blunt and incised wounds to the head and blunt force trauma to the neck, and authorities immediately treated the death as a homicide.
LeFevre’s van was later recovered in Pembroke, New Hampshire, with the keys left in the ignition. Despite evidence of a violent struggle and that lead, the investigation grew cold. No arrests or publicly identified suspects have been announced and the case remains unsolved.
Does anyone who lived in Alton or Pembroke in 1988 have information about Gregory, his movements, or seeing that van around February 6, 1988?
