On the morning of October 4, 2011, 10‑month‑old Lisa Renee Irwin vanished from her crib in her family’s home in Kansas City, Missouri. Her father, Jeremy Irwin, returned from a late shift to find the front door unlocked, lights on and a window open; Lisa had last been seen by her mother, Deborah Bradley, when she was put to bed. Lisa was described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, about 30 pounds and 2 feet 6 inches tall, with a birthmark on her right thigh. She was last seen wearing purple pants and a purple shirt with white kittens.
The initial response included an Amber Alert, searches by local police and the FBI, and forensic searches of the neighborhood, fields, wells and the family’s backyard. Three family cell phones were missing from the home. Two witnesses reported seeing a man in the area in the early morning carrying a baby not dressed for the cold; one witness, Mike Thompson, said he saw a man with a baby in a diaper around 4 a.m.
No suspects have been publicly named and the case remains unsolved; age‑progressed images have been released. If anyone has information about Lisa, her last known movements, or the man seen in the neighborhood that morning, please come forward.
