Alexander Bloodworth, 21, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, July 31, 2025, in the 100 block of Navy Drive in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Deputies found Bloodworth on the ground with gunshot wounds around 9 p.m.; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was also wounded in the same shooting.

The investigation led to the arrest of 19-year-old Trivinci Mack of Orangeburg. Mack was charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. At the time of the July shooting, Mack was reportedly out on bond for a separate second-degree domestic violence charge from earlier in 2025; following the new charges no bond was set and Mack was scheduled for a court appearance in September 2025. The motive has not been released.
