On July 29, 2025, 15-year-old Braydon Williams was found dead in Tiptonville, Tennessee, one of four family members killed in a wooded area. The victims included his mother, Cortney Rose, 38; his sister, Adrianna Williams, 20; and Adrianna’s boyfriend, James M. Wilson, 21. That same day a 7-month-old infant—Adrianna and James Wilson’s daughter—was discovered unharmed but abandoned in her car seat in the front yard of a random home in Dyer County after a witness reported seeing a vehicle leave the baby there.

The infant’s abandonment led investigators to the scene in Lake County and triggered a manhunt for the primary suspect, 28-year-old Austin Robert Drummond, who was described as known to the victims and considered armed and dangerous. Drummond, who had a prior conviction for aggravated robbery and had been released from prison in September 2024, was taken into custody in the woods in Jackson, Tennessee, after about a week of searching. He faces multiple charges including four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and firearm offenses.

Authorities also charged Tanaka Brown, 29, and Giovonte Thomas, 29, with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, and charged Derrah Sanders with accessory after the fact. The motive for the killings has not been established. If anyone knew Braydon or has information about the family or the events of July 29, please come forward with tips.
