Christopher Andrews was found dead in his Albuquerque home on September 20, 2017, the victim of a gunshot wound. There were no signs of forced entry, but a shell casing from Andrews’ own firearm was recovered and the weapon itself was missing when officers arrived. His blue Subaru sedan was seen being driven by someone in the days after his death; the identity of that driver has not been determined.
The Albuquerque Police Department continues to investigate the unsolved homicide and has featured the case in its Duke City Case Files series to try to generate new leads. Andrews’ family remembered him as someone with a passion for learning and reading. Anyone with information, particularly about who was last seen with his car, is asked to come forward.
