In the early hours of Sunday, October 19, 2025, 29-year-old Jacyrus Lee Hudson was shot outside Club Gossip in Clewiston’s Harlem neighborhood, near 1825 13th Street. Deputies who responded to reports of gunfire found people running and vehicles speeding away from the nightclub area. Hudson was taken for medical care but did not survive.

Investigators say a fight began in the club’s parking lot and spilled into the street, where shots were fired. Detectives cordoned off the block and interviewed witnesses; additional calls matched a gunshot victim being taken to a medical facility, consistent with efforts to rush Hudson for help. Authorities identified him publicly by name and age, and by midweek the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office reported the suspect remained at large. No arrests have been announced and no suspect description was released.

If anyone was at Club Gossip that night or saw vehicles or people leaving near 1825 13th Street around the early morning of October 19, please contact the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office with any information.
