On the night of Saturday, October 18, 2025, a mass shooting on the 500 block of Williams Street in Macon, Georgia, left three men dead. Sixteen-year-old Markell Kiewan Bonner Jr. was among the victims; the others were 21-year-old Brandon Thomas and 27-year-old Quantayrias Townsend, who was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle but later died. Deputies arrived just before 11 p.m. and found the victims; at least 50 shell casings were later counted on the residential street, and neighbors described rapid gunfire that many initially thought were fireworks.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office identified the incident as a triple homicide and opened an intensive investigation. On October 27, 2025, 21-year-old Rekeymia Henley surrendered and was charged with three counts of murder, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence; she was held without bond. Authorities later released the name and photo of 24-year-old Titustavius Freeman Jr., saying he might have extremely important information about the case and asking the public to come forward.
Does anyone who lived near Williams Street that night have information about the shooting or the people involved?
