Leotis James Breedlove Jr was shot multiple times and killed outside a residence on the 200 block of Northwest Second Way in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on the morning of November 23, 2025. Later that day deputies located 32-year-old Deerfield Beach resident Jarvis Chinn near the 200 block of Northwest 30th Avenue in Pompano Beach and took him into custody without incident. Broward Sheriff’s Office charged him with one count of first-degree murder with a firearm and reported he was being held without bond; authorities have not released a motive.
