Seventeen-year-old Rajuan Clark Jr, known as Ray, was killed on the night of November 22, 2025, when gunfire erupted in the Gloster area of Amite County, Mississippi. Reports say multiple people were struck in a chaotic burst of violence; Clark died of his injuries and at least one other young person was left in critical condition. Some accounts place the shooting along Duck Nest Road at about 7 p.m.

Clark was a senior at Amite County High School and a multi-sport athlete who played football (wide receiver and defensive back, jersey number 3), basketball and baseball (shortstop and right-handed pitcher). He had been selected for the Magnolia State Senior Bowl and was widely described as a respected classmate whose presence drew public tributes. In the days after the shooting, authorities identified a suspect: Jamichael Keshon Hall of Gloster was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the Duck Nest Road shooting. Officials have not detailed a motive and say the investigation is ongoing.

If anyone in Gloster or Amite County witnessed the shooting or knows more about what happened that night, please share information with investigators.
