Andrew Boyd, a 45-year-old white male, was shot and killed in a parking lot along the 3400 block of Blazer Parkway near Man o’ War Boulevard and Richmond Road in Lexington, Kentucky, on the evening of November 20, 2025. Officers were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. and found him lying in the lot with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Fayette County Coroner ruled the death a homicide from a gunshot wound and formally identified Boyd.

Boyd’s family has spoken publicly about their loss. His 19-year-old daughter Analissa described him as her best friend and protector, recalling his sense of humor and how he made those around him laugh. The family held Thanksgiving together shortly after the killing as they grappled with shock and unanswered questions.

Lexington Police say all parties involved have been identified and emphasized there was no ongoing threat to the public. Detectives in the homicide unit continue to investigate and have asked anyone with information to contact Lexington Police or submit anonymous tips through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers. Does anyone have information about that evening on Blazer Parkway or saw activity in the area that night?
