Tyjah Brevard, an 18-year-old male from Rock Hill, South Carolina, was killed in the first hours of November 28, 2025, when gunfire erupted at an apartment complex along the 2300 block of Eden Terrace near Arrowhead Drive. Police found him outside the complex already mortally wounded and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person inside an apartment suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Investigators later tied the shooting to an attempted armed robbery. Authorities say Brevard and another Rock Hill man, Jaquavious Marcel White, confronted two males at gunpoint and demanded their belongings. One of the intended victims drew a firearm during the encounter and shot both suspects; Brevard was killed and White was wounded. After White was treated and released from the hospital, police arrested him and charged him with attempted armed robbery and criminal conspiracy. The Rock Hill Police Department states the homicide investigation remains active as other threads of the case continue to be worked.

Did anyone in the Rock Hill area witness the confrontation or the moments before it at the Eden Terrace complex?
