Adam Daniel Pineda, 21, was shot and killed in his pickup truck on the afternoon of January 10, 2026, on Vistadale Drive in Humble, Texas. A Klein Collins High School graduate who worked for an electrical company, Adam was remembered by family as a devoted boyfriend and older brother with interests in marine biology, gaming, and anime. His mother described him as giving and deeply loved.

Investigators believe Adam arrived for a pre-arranged meeting and was confronted by at least four masked individuals. He was shot multiple times while still inside his vehicle; emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene. The suspects fled immediately, and law enforcement, including a K-9 unit and a drone, conducted searches. Robbery has been considered as a possible motive.

In the days after the killing a memorial of photos appeared on Vistadale Drive. Adam’s family has urged anyone with information to come forward, and investigators have been reviewing surveillance footage from nearby homes. No arrests had been made as of late January 2026.

If anyone saw activity on Vistadale Drive that afternoon or has footage or information, please share what is known with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
