Reverend Barry Lynn Bradley, 63, was shot and killed at a residence on the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus property in Cedarbluff, Mississippi, on the evening of January 9, 2026. Investigators found forced entry into the home where Bradley and his brother, Samuel Bradley, were staying for the weekend; both men were discovered shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
The pastor’s death was part of a broader killing spree that night in which a lone gunman had already shot and killed four members of his own family, including his father, brother, uncle, and a 7-year-old second cousin, bringing the total killed at three locations to six people. Authorities identified and arrested 24-year-old Daricka M. Moore and charged Moore with multiple counts of murder. Prosecutors have said they may seek the death penalty; the motive has not been determined, though officials noted a connection between Moore’s family and the church.
Does anyone from Cedarbluff or the congregation have information about Moore’s family ties to the church or observations from that night that could help clarify what happened?
