On the night of January 8, 2026, officers responding to a welfare check in Landover found 60-year-old Constance Miller outside a home on the 3100 block of 75th Avenue with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital and died of her injuries on January 16, 2026. The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation and has ruled her death a homicide.
Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify any suspect or suspects. The department has announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment. No suspects have been publicly identified and no arrests have been announced.
Did anyone in the Landover or nearby Hyattsville area see or hear anything on the night of January 8 that could help investigators?
