A dispute outside a banquet hall in Temple Hills, Maryland, in the early morning hours of January 3, 2026, left three men dead. Around 2:10 a.m. in the 4300 block of St. Barnabas Road, 26-year-old Kevon Medley Williams of Washington, D.C., 33-year-old Pierre Davis of Washington, D.C., and 27-year-old Ronez Proctor of Waldorf were all pronounced dead at the scene after gunfire broke out following a birthday party at the venue.
Prince George’s County investigators say surveillance footage and ballistic evidence indicate the violence began when 39-year-old Antonio Lancaster of Landover allegedly opened fire on Proctor and Williams while Lancaster and Davis were in the parking lot. Williams and Davis are believed to have exchanged gunfire and fatally wounded each other. Officers allege that after being pushed to the ground during a struggle, Proctor was approached and shot at close range by Lancaster, who then fled.
Lancaster was arrested the Sunday after the shooting in Fairfax County, Virginia, and is awaiting extradition to face charges including first and second-degree murder in Proctor’s death and shooting at Kevon Williams. Police recovered two handguns at the scene and are searching for a third weapon believed to be involved. If anyone has information about the events that night or knew any of the men, please come forward.
