Ricardo Lee Vance, 47, was shot and killed on the evening of Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Oxon Hill, Maryland. First responders found him outside in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road after calls about a shooting; he was treated at the scene but pronounced dead there. The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is handling the investigation and has not released a motive or identified any suspects.

Authorities have offered a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment and are asking anyone with details to contact the Homicide Unit or submit an anonymous tip through Prince George’s County Crime Solvers. Anyone who knew Ricardo or who saw activity in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road that evening is asked to come forward with information.
