DeAndre Duff was shot and killed in Meridian, Mississippi, on January 22, 2026. Police were called about 10:30 a.m. to the 2900 block of State Boulevard; officers found Duff at the scene and he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect. Twenty-four-year-old Adrian Wallace turned himself in shortly after the shooting, was taken into custody, and was charged with murder; his bond was set at one million dollars. Authorities said preliminary information pointed to a family-related confrontation and that they believed the incident was isolated.
A second person, Henbria Kelly, was later arrested and charged with accessory after the fact; her bond was set at $50,000. The Meridian Police Department described the investigation as active. If anyone has information about Duff, the events on State Boulevard that morning, or the people involved, contact investigators.
