Has anyone else been following the developments in Byron Prejean's case? I’m still trying to wrap my head around how someone could do something so awful to a person who was so loved in his community. What really gets me is the fact that Byron was a kids' football coach and made such a difference in so many young lives. I heard from several parents how much their kids looked up to him. He seemed genuinely dedicated to making a positive impact beyond just his family. It’s really haunting to think about the void this tragedy has left, not just with his family, but also with all those kids who saw him as a role model. I can't help but feel for his eleven children who are now without their dad. I hope the community rallies together not just for justice but also to support his family as they navigate this awful time.
