I was just thinking about the safety concerns this incident raises. It's absolutely terrifying to think that something like this can happen in such a busy area. I mean, a Starbucks parking lot in broad daylight? That's a place almost anyone could find themselves on a typical weekend. My heart goes out to Danilo Rodas's family and friends who are dealing with such an immense loss. I hope that the police can get to the bottom of this quickly. It's unnerving to think that the people responsible might still be walking free. It's times like these I wonder how we can better protect public spaces so that people can feel safe in their communities. Has anyone heard of any community meetings or efforts being organized in Fresno to address safety concerns in the wake of this tragedy?
