Bayron Herrera y Pivaral, 39, was found dead in his vehicle after a shooting on the evening of April 3, 2026, in Littlerock, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Palmdale Station responded shortly before 6 p.m. to a report of a shooting near 120th Street East and East Avenue Q and located Herrera y Pivaral in the driver’s seat with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau has taken over the investigation. No motive or suspect information has been released and no arrests have been announced. Herrera y Pivaral was of Guatemalan heritage and is survived by two sons; his family is arranging to repatriate his body to Guatemala and has started a fundraiser to help cover funeral and transportation costs.
