It's been a few months since Daniel Mathis was tragically killed in Pembroke Park, and my thoughts are with his family and loved ones who must still be grappling with this unimaginable loss. One thing that's been on my mind is the difficulty investigators might be facing with the location of the incident. A gas station on a busy road like West Hallandale Beach Boulevard should have loads of surveillance cameras, right? It makes me wonder how much footage they've been able to gather and if it's helped them piece together the events that unfolded that night. I also can't stop thinking about those who were there as witnesses; they might hold critical information but could be hesitant to come forward. It’s understandable that people might be scared, especially if the suspect is still out there. I just hope that the reward and the ability to submit tips anonymously give them the courage to share what they know. For Daniel's sake and for everyone affected by this senseless crime, I truly hope that law enforcement can bring justice to this case soon.
