A Pflugerville family was found dead in their home on Civorno Drive on the morning of May 7, 2026. Authorities discovered 63-year-old Jami Dahan, her 62-year-old husband Armand Dahan, and their 31-year-old son Noah Dahan, each fatally shot. A coworker’s welfare check prompted deputies to respond around 8:30 a.m., where they encountered the scene.

Investigators identified 27-year-old Joshua Dahan, the younger son, as a person of interest. Around 7:30 a.m. that morning deputies in West Lake Hills encountered Joshua in apparent severe emotional distress; he told them he was trying to get away and claimed his parents were hurting and manipulating him, then left saying he would go to his grandmother’s house. Neighbors reported loud bangs at about 5:20 a.m., and a car was seen leaving roughly 25 minutes later. Joshua’s vehicle was found near Norwood Park Boulevard in North Austin, and he was detained without incident about 11:45 a.m. at a nearby McDonald’s; he was arrested and charged with capital murder that day.

Detectives learned Joshua had a prior criminal record and that family members said he was on mental health medication that had recently been changed. The investigation is ongoing as the community absorbs the deaths of three family members in one incident. Did anyone in Pflugerville or North Austin see a car leave the Civorno Drive area around 5:45 a.m. on May 7?
