Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot lately about the area around Los Cerritos Center where Darnell was shot. It's just so unsettling to think that this happened right by a busy shopping center, a place where families and teenagers, like Darnell, hang out all the time. Are there any regulars from the area who can shed more light on the environment there? Is it common for disputes to escalate in this way? It seems like such a public place, and yet, the suspect still managed to disappear. This whole situation really highlights how gun violence can erupt anywhere, even in places we consider safe and familiar. I hope justice is served for Darnell and his family soon. Please take care, everyone, and hug your loved ones a little tighter today.
