In the early morning hours of Friday, July 10, 2026, deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Henry Berry Road between Rowland and Pembroke. They found 15-year-old Jameson Graham of Fairmont fatally shot; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Family and friends remembered him for his kindness, warm smile, and close friendships.

An arrest followed quickly. Eighteen-year-old Isaiah R. Thompson of Rowland was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Graham’s death. Thompson is also charged with unrelated counts of breaking and entering, larceny, and felony conspiracy and is being held without bond at the Robeson County Detention Center. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division is actively investigating and asking anyone with information to contact them.
