Christopher Walsh, 31, was shot and killed on July 2, 2026, while working at a vacant home on Crathie Drive in Humble, Texas. He had been dispatched there as a repairman; when he did not return that evening his family contacted his employer, who tracked Walsh’s work truck to the residence and found him inside with gunshot wounds.
Authorities arrested 32-year-old Jaime Michael Garcia, the homeowner’s son, and charged him with Walsh’s murder. Garcia was already out on bond at the time on three separate cases, including an aggravated assault from a prior shooting, and had prior convictions for drugs, weapons, and theft. While in custody for Walsh’s killing, Garcia was also charged in the May shooting death of 41-year-old Francisco Navarro; investigators are examining any connection between the two homicides.
Walsh is remembered by his family as a kind, gentle man and a devoted father to two sons. Does anyone have information about Walsh’s movements that day or about activity at the Crathie Drive home?
