Deshawn Rippey, 32, was shot and killed in the early hours of July 2, 2026, in Middletown, Ohio. Police found him around 2:10 a.m. in the 1300 block of Yankee Road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was taken to a local hospital and later died. One report says he may have been targeted and was shot multiple times in the back at a party.

Rippey’s family has publicly appealed for information and has self-funded a $10,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest and conviction. The Middletown Police Department is investigating and has interviewed people who were at the party, but no suspects have been publicly identified and no arrests have been announced.

Can anyone who was at that party or who has information about what happened that morning help the family and investigators by coming forward?
