Jerrold Germaine Evans, 37, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of November 22, 2014, while attending a party at a private residence on Peters Lane in Henderson, North Carolina. A private vehicle took Evans to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The Vance County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, interviewed several witnesses who were at the party, but no viable suspects or witnesses have come forward with information that led to an arrest. The case remains unsolved and open, and authorities continue to appeal to the public for help.
