On the evening of Friday, June 26, 2026, 39-year-old Danny Eugene Inman was found on the front porch of a Timberlake Road home in Union, South Carolina, with a gunshot wound. Deputies arrived just before 9:00 p.m.; he was taken to Union Medical Center and later died from injuries ruled to be the result of gun violence.

A Union native, Inman worked for himself in tree service and lawn care and had previously been employed in the logging industry. He is survived by his parents, three sons, a sister, and a brother, and his passing is described as a shock to the local community.
