On the night of June 22, 2026, Greenfield, California, experienced a deadly shooting at the Fastrip Gas Station on El Camino Real that killed 32-year-old Elizabeth Saavedra and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Aldo Mandujano of King City. The Greenfield Police Department says the first officer arrived within a minute of the 911 call. Investigators have described the attack as targeted and believe it was gang-related; some reports link Mandujano to a gang while stressing Saavedra had no gang involvement.
Despite collected evidence and public appeals for witnesses, no arrests or suspects have been publicly identified in the weeks after the shooting. Saavedra was a mother of twin 4-year-old boys and a Baile Folklórico instructor in the Salinas Valley; her death has prompted an outpouring of grief in the community.
If anyone was at the gas station that night or has information that could help investigators, please come forward.
