Giorgio Edward White, 40, was shot and killed in Fort Wayne in the early hours of Sunday, June 21, 2026. Officers responded about 2:15 a.m. to reports of a shooting near East Pontiac Street and Weisser Park Avenue. He was found with a gunshot wound, taken to a hospital, and later pronounced dead; the Allen County Coroner identified him as Giorgio Edward White.

Detectives canvassed the area and interviewed potential witnesses. The same block had seen a separate shooting the day before that left one man with non-life-threatening injuries, but police said they did not believe the two incidents were related.

Does anyone who was in the East Pontiac Street and Weisser Park Avenue area that weekend have information that could help investigators?
