Tony Frith Sellers, 27, was killed in a shooting in Monroe, Louisiana, in the early hours of Father’s Day, June 21, 2026. The shooting occurred about 1:47 a.m. in a parking lot on Desiard Street after what police describe as a dispute among a group of women that escalated and drew in several men; gunfire followed. A woman at the scene was also injured after being struck by a vehicle while people were fleeing.
Monroe Police identified 20-year-old Harry James West as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree murder and terrorizing. With U.S. Marshals’ assistance, West was located in Texas and booked into the Ouachita Parish Jail on July 7, 2026. No information about a trial, conviction, or sentence has been reported.
Who knew Tony or was in the Desiard Street area that night and can help fill in what happened?
