A 19-year-old mother, Niliyah Montgomery, was fatally shot on a Sunday afternoon after a dispute outside her home in the 1600 block of West Concord Street, San Bernardino. According to police, the argument with a friend turned physical; as Niliyah walked back toward her house after the altercation, a single gunshot struck her in the back and she died of her injuries. Niliyah had a young daughter named Junie and had recently returned to school.

Investigators say multiple people were present during the fight and determined the fatal shot was fired from a vehicle after the confrontation ended. Police identified 20-year-old Elvia Johnson as the suspect and issued an active warrant alleging Johnson fired from the vehicle; authorities described her as armed and dangerous. A GoFundMe was organized to help the family with funeral expenses. No conviction has been reported and the suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

If anyone was at West Concord Street that afternoon or has information about the vehicle involved, can you share what you know with investigators?
