Micah Christopher Atkinson was 29 when he was shot and killed on November 25, 2013, at the Kimmerly Glen Apartments on Endolwood Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. He and another man were found with gunshot wounds and taken to the hospital; Atkinson later died of his injuries. Authorities said they did not believe the shooting was random and suggested one of the victims was specifically targeted.

No suspects were immediately apprehended and the investigation remained open as his family sought answers. His brother Curtis described the family’s grief, noting the added pain that Atkinson’s young daughter had to attend his burial on her birthday.

Does anyone who lived near Kimmerly Glen Apartments at that time have information that could help the investigation?
