A shooting rampage in rural Clay County on the evening of January 9, 2026, killed six people, including Pastor Barry L. Bradley, 63. Bradley, founder of the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and his brother Samuel C. Bradley were found at the church property on Siloam-Griffith Road with gunshot wounds; the brothers lived primarily in Columbus and often spent weekends at the church.

The accused, 24-year-old Daricka M. Moore, is alleged to have first killed his father, brother and uncle on David Hill Road, then shot a seven-year-old second cousin at a Blake Road home, and finally attacked the church residence. Moore was arrested later that evening at a roadblock, pleaded not guilty at his initial court appearance, was denied bond, and faces multiple capital and first-degree murder charges while investigators continue to examine motive.

Anyone who knew Pastor Bradley or the victims, or who has information about the events that night, is asked to share what they know.
